Dorothy "Dot" Chandler Baiamonte

Dorothy “Dot” Chandler Baiamonte passed away on Saturday, November 6, 2021, at the age of 73, at her residence, in Hammond, La. She was born on July 27, 1948 in Pine Grove, Louisiana to the late Virgil Chandler and the late Rita King Chandler. She graduated from Southeastern Louisiana University and worked as a Medical Technologist at Charity Hospital in New Orleans until she retired. She was an avid Saints fan and loved her cats. 

 

She is survived by: her nephews, Ronald Buhler & wife Rose of Bossier City, La; Brandon Rimes of Bossier City, La; Eric McLin of Gonzales, La; and numerous cousins, great nieces and great nephews.

 

She was preceded in death by: her husband, John Baiamonte; sister, Joyce Chandler Demourelle; sister, Shirley Chandler Rimes.

 

Interment will be held privately for her family and friends at Pine Grove Cemetery at a later date.
