Doris Bankston Reynolds

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Doris Bankston Reynolds. She passed away on Tuesday, November 20, 2018, at the age of 84, surrounded by her loving family. Doris was born on Sunday, June 3, 1934 in New Orleans, Louisiana to the late Thelma Bankston and the late Herbert Bankston. She was a resident of Ponchatoula, Louisiana.

In addition to her parents, Doris was also preceded in death by her husband, David Reynolds; two sons, Rodney and Sheldon Reynolds; three brothers, Herbert, Nathaniel, and Rudy Bankston; and two sisters, Deborah James and Francis Carol Joseph.

Doris is survived by her son, Eric Reynolds (Linda); four sisters, Joyce "Betty" Peters, Ora Hawkins (Peter), Theresa Ganey (Larry), Cheryl Mclain (Arthur); one brother, Donald Bankston; and numerous nieces, nephews, and grandchildren.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Memorial Service for Doris on Saturday, November 24, 2018 at 1:00 PM at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witness 41257 I-55 Frontage Road, Hammond, LA 70403.
