Donna Rea Theriot

Donna Rea Theriot, age 63 of Hammond, Louisiana, passed away suddenly on Tuesday, July 16, 2019, at her home. She was born on Tuesday, June 5, 1956, in New Orleans, Louisiana. Donna enjoyed life and loved gardening, cooking, sewing and her dog Rex, but she especially loved spending time with her grandchildren and family. She was lovingly referred to as Nonna. 

Donna is survived by her children,Heather Theriot and her fiance Byron Dentler and Chris Theriot and his wife Mariah, her grandchildren, Chelsea Kaylen and her husband Sean, Hazen Theriot,Alison Pratt and Amaya Smith, her fur baby, Rex, her brother, David and her sisters, Debra, Darlene and DeeAnn, also many nieces, nephews and close friends. 

Donna was preceded in death by her father, Donald Rea, her mother, Mollie Tillman Roberts, her stepfather, Jules Roberts, she is also preceded in death by her beloved husband, Edd Theriot,lovingly referred to as Poppa. They were happily married for 30 years. Her family is happy their Nonna and Poppa are together again after 15 long years. 

A memorial service will be held privately by her family.
