Donald Lee Todd

Donald Lee Todd, 78 years old of Ponchatoula, Louisiana, passed away on Friday, November 2, 2018 at his home surrounded by his loving family. He was born on October 6, 1940, in Greenfield, Tennessee, the son of the late David LeeTodd and the late Geraldine Stout Todd.

Donnie, as he was known at work, retired from Barriere Construction after 52 years. He will be remembered as a loyal and hardworking employee, as well as, a loving and kind husband, father, grandfather, and brother.

Don is survived by his beloved wife of 56 years, Melanie Petz Todd; children, Christopher Lee Todd, Sr. (Deanna), David Joseph Todd (Rachael), and Tracy Lynn Todd; grandchildren, Erin, Christopher, Danielle, and Nicholas; brother, Rickey Todd; 4 sisters-in-law; and numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, Don was preceded in death by his great grandson, Vincent.

Family and friends will be received on Tuesday, November 6, 2018 at Harry McKneely & Son Funeral Home, 2000 N. Morrison Blvd. Hammond,Louisiana 70401, from 8:00 am until 10:00 am, with words of remembrance being shared before we dismiss to go to church.

The Funeral Mass will follow at 11:00 am at St. Joseph's Catholic Church, 255 N. 8th St. Ponchatoula, Louisiana 70454.
