Donald Lee Joiner

Donald Lee Joiner passed away on Monday, January 22, 2024, in Laffayette, Louisiana, at the age of 87.  He was born on Thursday, July 23, 1936 in Loranger, Louisiana to the late Martha Bennett Joiner and the late Joe Joiner.  He was a resident of Loranger, Louisiana.  Donald was known to be very hard working.  He loved everyone and everyone loved him.  Donald was kind and generous to everyone he met, and he was an incredible husband to his loving wife.

Donald is survived by his wife of 64 years, Louise Vignes Joiner; son & daughter-in-law, Don and Loretta Joiner; grandsons, Lawrence Joiner and Lance Joiner; and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his father, Joe Joiner; mother, Martha Bennett Joiner; and numerous siblings.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the visitation at Harry McKneely & Son Funeral Home in Hammond, 2000 N. Morrison Boulevard, Hammond, Louisiana 70401, on Sunday, January 28, 2024, beginning at 12:00 PM until the funeral service begins at 2:00 PM. 

Interment will follow in Oak Grove Church of God Cemetery, Loranger, Louisiana.
