Dominick Tony Nuccio

Dominick Tony Nuccio, 89 years old of Walker, Louisiana, passed away on Tuesday, August 23, 2016, in Baton Rouge. He was born on Sunday, July 17, 1927, in Hammond, Louisiana to Phillip and Fannie Nuccio. Dominick enjoyed life and loved classic cars, gardening, old southern gospel music and playing the drums, but he especially loved his wife and spending time with his family. He was an example of what God expects a Good and Faithful servant to be.

Dominick is survived by his loving wife of 57 years Lillian Nuccio, his daughter, Patsy Howansky and her husband David, his grandchildren, David Howansky, Jr. and his wife Jennifer, Jason Howansky, Donna Overmier and her husband Daniel, Theresa Lott, Craig Lott and his wife Elizabeth, Karen Ziebarth and her husband Dale and Keith Lott and his wife Kristi, 23 great grandchildren, his sister, Sadie Licciardo, also many nieces, nephews and close friends.

Dominick is preceded in death by parents, Phillip and Fannie Nuccio, his brothers, Louis, Joseph, Samuel, Benny and Buster Nuccio, his sister, Mary Licciardo, his sons, Bob and Jerry Lott and his grandchildren, Debbie, Larry and Kimberly Ellis.

A Visitation for Dominick will be held on Friday, August 26, 2016 from 5:00 pm until 9:00 pm and continue on Saturday, August 27, 2016 from 9:00 am until 10:00 am at Harry McKneely & Son Funeral Home in Hammond. A Funeral Service Celebrating Dominick's Life will immediately follow Saturday's visitation at 10:00am in the funeral home chapel. Interment will follow in the Loranger Community Cemetery in Loranger.
