Dolores Yvonne Williams Gainey

Dolores Yvonne Williams Gainey, a native of Manchac, Louisiana, passed away on Thursday, March 5, 2020, at CHI St. Joseph in Bryan, Texas at the age of 79.

Dolores is survived by her husband, Bobby Gainey and their two children, Michael Gainey, of Pasadena, Texas, and Rhonda Morgan (Greg) of Bryan, Texas; four grandchildren, Ragan Gainey, Garrett Gainey, Kyle Morgan, and Kaley Knapp; three great grandchildren, Aidan Gainey, Gabriel Morgan, and Sophia Morgan; two sisters, Frances Schenk (Gary) of Baton Rouge, Louisiana, and Sheila Bowles (Larry) of Manchac, Louisiana; two brothers, Kenneth Williams (Norma) of Pineville, Louisiana and Keith Williams of Cortez, Colorado; as well as nieces and nephews, Elizabeth Chedraui, Gary Wayne Schenk, J.J. Bowles, Stacy Coll, Katie Hazelton, John Williams, and Jake Williams.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Ernest and Myrtle Williams; sister and brother-in-law, Linda and Overton Thibodeaux; and niece, Lori Saltzman.

Family and friends will be received at Harry McKneely & Son Funeral Home, 100 W. Magnolia St. Ponchatoula, Louisiana 70454, on Sunday, March 8, 2020 from 5:00 pm until 8:00 pm. Visitation will continue at the funeral home on Monday, March 9, 2020 from 9:00 am until 11:00 am.

A Funeral Service will be held at Harry McKneely & Son Funeral Home -  Ponchatoula, on Monday at 11:00 am.

Interment will follow at Ponchatoula Cemetery in Ponchatoula, Louisiana.
