Dolores Anthony

Dolores Therese Anthony passed away on Saturday, August 17, 2019, in Lafayette, Louisiana, at the age of 81. She was born on Wednesday, February 23, 1938 in Barton, Louisiana to the late Edward and Hilda Cavalier Causin. She was a resident of Tickfaw, Louisiana.

Dolores is survived by her daughters, Cheryl Santangelo (Jack), and Melissa Alvarado; sons, Rickie Martin and Bruce Darville Anthony (Michelle); granddaughters, Heather Santangelo McCarroll (Brandon), Jesica Martin, Kayla Foster, Kristin Martin, and Jordan Reyes (Blake); grandsons, Tony Calen Alvarado (Lauren), Devin Martin (Stefanie), Bryce Martin, Eric Anthony (Lauren),and Ryan Anthony (Brandi); great-grandchildren, Ayden, Hartley, Rhys, Layla, Benjamin, Alijah, Abagail, Ariel, Brody, Paisley, Honor, Atticus, and Jordyn; sisters, Linda Albarado (Elwood) and Carolyn Gros (Rogers); sister-in-law, Julie Causin; and brother-in-law, Frank Martin.

In addition to her parents, Dolores is also preceded in death by her husband, Murphy Anthony; son, Joey Martin; great-granddaughter, Payton Ferchaud; sisters, Lucille Causin and Barbara Martin; and brother, Donald Causin.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the visitation for Dolores on Tuesday, August 20, 2019, at Harry McKneely and Son Funeral Home in Hammond, 2000 N Morrison Boulevard, Hammond, Louisiana 70401, beginning at 9:00 AM until 11:00 AM. Following the visitation, there will be a procession to Tickfaw Baptist Church for a prayer service.

Interment will follow in Sheila Cemetery, Tickfaw, Louisiana.
