Diane McEntee Dufour

Diane McEntee Dufour, age 77, passed away peacefully on April 21, 2024, surrounded by her family.   She is survived by her daughters, Shawn (Sam) Messina and Danielle (Tiger) Folks, and her grandchildren Samantha Messina, Jacob Messina and Harley Folks.  She is also survived by brothers and sisters-in-law Rickie and Pam Dufour, Troy and Laurie Dufour, sisters-in-law Donna Sue Dufour and Claudia Dufour, and many nieces and nephews she loved dearly.

Diane was preceded in death by her husband, Terry, parents William and Ordean, brothers Jim and Billy, and brothers-in-law Medaris and Darrell. 

Diane was an active and devoted parishioner of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Ponchatoula and served the church in many capacities. 

We sincerely thank Dr. Rab, Allison, the staff of the Quality Care Dialysis Center of Hammond, and the nurses of North Oaks Hospital. We also extend our heartfelt appreciation to The Hospice of Baton Rouge.  

When she is laid to rest at Ponchatoula Cemetery, the family will hold a private celebration of life. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to The Hospice of Baton Rouge.
