Diane Albers Holloway, of Holden, Louisiana, passed away on Thursday, August 27, 2026, at the age of 67, surrounded by her loving family. She was born on Tuesday, March 24, 1959, in New Orleans, Louisiana, the daughter of the late John Emile Albers and the late Doris Keil Albers.
Diane enjoyed watching true crime shows and mysteries. She also enjoyed taking a trip to the casino to try her luck on the slot machines. Diane was a big Elvis fan, and her love for him could be seen throughout her home, which was filled with Elvis memorabilia. Above all, Diane loved her family. Her children were especially important to her, and she treasured the time she spent with them. She will be remembered for the love she had for her family and the memories they shared together.
Diane is survived by her partner of 18 years, David Walker; children, Roy Pier (Lyndy), Eddie Pier Jr., Ursula Cercy (Charles), Sundae Holloway (James Babin), and Dakota Holloway (Janie); grandchildren, Lil' Charles, Tye, Autumn, Madison "Tater", Hannah, McCoy, Mr. Chow, Cricket, Kortlyn, Zoe, Emory, Kyson, Jaxen, and Wrenley; great-grandchildren, Everleigh and Kai "Moon Pie"; siblings, Gerald Albers, Desiree Walker (Darrell), John Albers Jr. (Tammy), and Rowdy Albers (Betty); first husband, Eddie Pier Sr., and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
In addition to her parents, Diane was preceded in death by her husband, Tony Holloway; sister, Anita Prather; brother, Keil Albers; and nephew, Jerry Albers.
Services were held privately by the family.
