Diane Fiduccia Camelo, of Hammond, Louisiana, passed away at North Oaks Medical Center on Saturday, March 19, 2022, at the age of 75. She was born on February 6, 1947, in Hammond, Louisiana, the daughter of the late Nathan Francis Fiduccia and Maryann Varisco Fiduccia. Diane retired from Southeastern Louisiana University and was a longtime member of Holy Ghost Catholic Church. She loved traveling the world with her husband, going to the casino, and most of all, watching her grandson, Jackson, play sports. Diane had the most loving heart and she will be dearly missed.
Diane is survived by her husband of 44 years, Nicholas J. Camelo; brother, Joseph Fiduccia (Antonia); nieces and nephew, Gina Fiduccia, Andi Beth Fiduccia, Christian Scivicque (Gabe), and George John Camelo, Jr.; grandson, Jackson Joseph Peltier (age 12); and great niece, Maci Scivicque.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
A Funeral Mass will be held at Holy Ghost Catholic Church, 600 North Oak Street, Hammond, Louisiana 70401 on Wednesday, March 23, 2022 at 12:00 pm, with Fr. Robert Merced officiating.
Entombment will follow at Rose Memorial Park Mausoleum in Hammond, Louisiana.
Honorary pallbearer will be Diane's grandson, Jackson Joseph Peltier.
