Deralynn Murphy Hoyt

Deralynn Murphy Hoyt passed away on Wednesday, May 17, 2023, in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, at the age of 59.  She was born on Saturday, December 7, 1963 in Salt Lake City, Utah to Neville Murphy and the late Derald Murphy. She was a resident of Albany, Louisiana.

Deralynn is survived by her loving husband of 39 years, Gary Hoyt; son, Clarence Hoyt (Amanda); two grandchildren, Bryce and Madison Hoyt; mother, Neville Murphy; and siblings, Ann Drury (Harold), Sandra Banks, George Ann Murray and David Murphy (Natasha).

She was preceded in death by her father, Derald Murphy; daughter, Tonya Hoyt; granddaughter Laura Morgan; and her father-and mother-in-law, W.C. "Bunk" Hoyt and Barbara "Joan" Hoyt.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the visitation on Tuesday, May 23, 2023, 11:00 am - 1:00 pm.; until funeral services begin at 1:00 pm. Services will be held at Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, 2503 Old Baton Rouge Hwy, Hammond, Louisiana 70403. 

Interment will follow in James Chapel Methodist Church Cemetery, Holden, Louisiana.
