Dennis Brandon Sanders Jr., of Magnolia, Mississippi, passed away on Monday, June 15, 2026, at the age of 76. He was born on Monday, December 26, 1949, in Natchez, Mississippi, the son of the late Dennis Brandon Sanders Sr. and the late Eula Geter Sanders.
Dennis was a hardworking man who spent 32 years behind the wheel as a dedicated driver for UPS. Many folks knew him by his CB handle, Timberwolf.
Dennis loved to spend his evenings at the bowling alley knocking down pins with the Mississippi Rollers league. Those games were special, especially when he was bowling alongside his dear wife and good friends, cuttin' up and carryin' on while sharing some good laughs.
Gardening was another passion of his, where he took pride in tending to his daylily garden. He wasn’t just planting any flowers; he grew all sorts of colors and variations, making a patch of beauty that brightened not only his days but those who got to see it. When he wasn’t gardening or bowling, you could find Dennis out hunting or fishing, and just enjoying the great outdoors.
Now, if you ever wanted to talk about his favorite thing, it was food. The man was always eating, and his love for good home cookin’, especially his wife's, was clear to anyone who knew him.
He will be remembered by all who knew and loved him.
Dennis is survived by his adoring and forever love, his wife of 56 years, Diane Sanders; daughter, Dana Lynn Peters; fur puppy, DeDe; sister, Dorothy Sanders (Tommy) Soley; and brother, David Lynn (Lynette) Sanders.
He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Dennis Issac Sanders, and grandmother, Sally Sanders Blanchard.
Family and friends will be received at Harry McKneely & Son Funeral Home - Hammond, 2000 N. Morrison Blvd, Hammond, Louisiana 70401, on Saturday, June 27, 2026, from 12:00 pm until the funeral service begins at 2:00 pm with Bro. Mike DePhillips officiating.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Tangi Lanes Junior Bowlers.
