Delaine Charbonnet Verdin

Delaine Charbonnet Verdin was born December 15, 1961, in Millington, TN, and passed away June 8, 2026, in Baton Rouge, LA. She was a longtime resident of Ponchatoula and was a retired boilermaker. Delaine is survived by her partner, Donnie Spurlock; daughter, Heather Van Gilder; son, Kevin Warch and fiancée Danny Cords; grandchildren, Rylee VanGilder, Jolie VanGilder, and Tracey Wayne VanGilder II; brother, Jimmy Charbonnet and wife Tammy; sisters, Michele “Micki” LeBlanc and Nanette Wetzel; and numerous nieces and nephews. Delaine is preceded in death by her parents E.J. and Pat Charbonnet. Visitation will be held Friday, June 12, 2026, at Harry McKneely & Son Funeral Home, 100  West Magnolia, Ponchatoula, from 1:00 p.m. until funeral services at 3:00 p.m. Delaine will be buried in Ponchatoula Cemetery.
