Debra Fay Lindsey

Debra Fay Lindsey, peacefully passed away at her Springfield residence on Saturday, December 6, 2025, at the age of 65. She was known to be a unique lady who enjoyed a good laugh and was always giggling about something. In her yard and garden, you would often find her tending to her beautiful flowers that she loved. Mrs. Debra was a seamstress for multiple years, she also worked at the headstart in Springfield for around 17 years, caring for the little ones throughout the years. She loved to dance and listen to her country music. Above all else, she loved her grandchildren and her family, spending time with them was the biggest blessing of her life. Mrs. Debra was a wonderful mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and friend to all who knew her and will be deeply missed.

She leaves behind her companion for 32 years, Charles Mitchell; children, Bradley Lindsey (Trudi), Ashley Easley, and Maranda Mitchell; grandchildren, Blake Lindsey, Brayden Lindsey, Carston Easley, Calissa Easley, Grayson Kent, Kaiden Alley, Cade Madison, and Tyler Degenhardt (Megan); great-grandchildren, Tate Degenhardt; brothers, Donald Lindsey (Glenda), Albert Lindsey and Alton Lindsey; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

Preceding her in death were her parents, Ounida and Albert Lindsey; son-in-law, Cody Easley; siblings, Rebecca Wax, Daniel Lindsey, Sharon Posey and Alex Lindsey.

Family and friends are invited to attend the Celebration of Life Service at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, December 12, 2025, at Harry McKneely & Son Funeral Home in Ponchatoula. Visitation will begin at 9:00 a.m. with Bro. John Wincapaw to officiate the services with burial to follow in Carter Cemetery.
