David Emile Mascair

David Emile Mascair, 86 years old of Ponchatoula, passed away Wednesday, April 19, 2017, at North Oaks Medical Center. He was born on July 22, 1930, in Ponchatoula, LA. He was preceded in death by his parents, Emile and Lucy Mascair; brother, Thomas Mascair Sr.; and son, David Joseph Mascair. He is survived by his wife, Emma Jean McGregory Mascair; children, James (Jim) Mascair, Patrick Mascair and Kathleen Mascair Morse; stepsons, Richard McGregory, Elliot McGregory, James (Skipper) McGregory Jr., and Barry McGregory; sister, Darleen Mascair Breaux; and very special nephew and niece, Thomas "Tommy" A. Mascair Jr. and Susan Mascair. He is also survived  by 14 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. 

The family will be receiving guests at Harry McKneely & Son Funeral Home in Ponchatoula, Saturday, April 22, 2017 from 10:00am until a Funeral Service Celebrating David's Life begins at 1:00pm in the funeral home chapel. 

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Richard Murphy Hospice House, 16013 Halbert Road , Hammond, LA 70403.
