Darryl Adam “Bull” Freeman 
March 29, 1968 - August 25, 2023

Darryl was known to nearly everyone as “Bull.” He adored his wife, Tracey, and cherished his time with his grandchildren. They were his world.

Those that knew him knew love. He never met a stranger and always greeted you with a smile that would light up a room. Bull was truly a giver of himself. He would literally give you the shirt off his back or the last penny he had. Bull had a true, genuine heart of gold. He did not know the word “no” and impacted everyone he came into contact with. He had the biggest heart and gave the best hugs. He had the sweetest soul and was always a gentleman. 

Bull left a legacy of love. Part of that legacy is his family. He is survived by his wife, Tracey; sons, Adam, Kevin (Karlie), Justin (Kayla), Will, Chad (Hillary); grandchildren, Carter, Thomas, Chandler, Baylor, Sophia; mother, Linda Fendlason (Glynn); father, Willie Freeman (Lois); mother-in-law, Marilyn Schenck; siblings, David (Tammy), Karen (Kenney), Kimberly, Kalani, Donald, Damon (Dana), Denise (Alvin); and numerous nieces and nephews, cousins, aunts and uncles.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Willie & Melvina Freeman; Henry & Evelyn Wall; and father-in-law, Robert Schenck.

Family and friends will be received at Woodland Baptist Church, 27929 Hwy 1037, Springfield, Louisiana 70462 on Wednesday, August 30, 2023, from 10:00 am until 2:00 pm. 

A Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 pm, with Bro. Mike Foster officiating.

Interment at Woodland Baptist Church Cemetery.

A meal will be served following the graveside service at the church.

Pallbearers will be Russel McKigney, Darren Decota, Kevin Sims, Dwayne “Hootie” Davis, Darron Landry, Joey Landry, Jody Richardson, and Keith Patterson.

Since Bull was such a giving person the family ask that in lieu of flowers, donations be made in Darryl Freeman’s name to: Parkinson’s Foundation at www.parkinson.org or Louisiana Special Olympics at www.specialolympicsla.org  .
