Klein, Darleen T.

Darleen T. Klein was born February 2, 1952, in New Orleans, to the late Edward J. Klein, Sr. and Rosemary Sarpy Klein.  She passed away at her home in Independence, April 3, 2023.  Darleen was a former resident of New Orleans and retired from the U.S. Department of Agriculture.  She is survived by her three sisters, Patricia Boyce, Rosemary Ray, and Lisa Melancon (Paul) and numerous nieces and nephews.  In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her sister Kathryn Smith; brother, Edward J. Klein, Jr.; maternal grandparents Harold and Annie Sarpy; and paternal grandparents, George and Angelina Klein.  A graveside service will be held at St. Louis Cemetery No. 3, 3421 Esplanade Avenue, New Orleans, Monday, April 10, 2023, at 11:00 a.m.
