Daria Anne Landry

Daria Anne Landry, age 65 of Ponchatoula, Louisiana, passed away on Sunday, September 29, 2019, at her home surrounded by her loving family. She was born on Friday, August 13, 1954, in Kauai, Hawaii.

Daria was the Assistant Principal at Ponchatoula Junior High School, a teacher and a coach. She had a degree and Masters Degree in P.E., a degree and Masters Degree in biology and her degree in administration, all from S.L.U. She loved her work in education and missed it dearly when she had to retire for health reasons.

Daria is survived by her mother, Lucille Landry, sister, Stacie Nuccio, brother & sister-in-law, Paul and Claudea Landry; niece, Samantha Landry, niece and her husband, Kaitlyn Nuccio Guzzardo and Aaron Guzzardo, niece Meghan Landry; nephew, Jonathon Nuccio; great nephews and niece, Blakely, Brantley and Brently.

She was preceded in death by her father, Roy Landry Jr.; brother, Thomas Michael Landry; brother-in-law, John Nuccio.

Family and friends will be received at Harry McKneely & Son Funeral Home 100 W. Magnolia St. Ponchatoula, Louisiana 70454, on Friday, October 4, 2019 from 11:00 am until 1:00 pm.

The memorial service will be held at Harry McKneely & Son Funeral Home on Friday at 1:00 pm.

Interment will follow at Ponchatoula Cemetery in Ponchatoula, Louisiana.
