Danny Lavell LeTard

Danny Lavell LeTard passed away on Thursday, December 4, 2025, in Marrero, Louisiana, at the age of 64. He was born on Monday, March 20, 1961 in Baton Rouge, Louisiana to Ruby Nell Carter LeTard and the late Xavier Ernest "Dudy" LeTard. He was a resident of Hammond, Louisiana. Danny was loved by all who knew him. He knew that no matter what happened, God would get him through it, and he wanted everyone around him to live their lives to the fullest.

Danny is survived by his mother, Ruby Nell Carter LeTard; daughters, Sarah LeTard Schilling(Justin) and Elizabeth LeTard Puma(Haden); grandchildren, Jackson William Schilling, Rosie Grace Puma, and Danny Michael Puma; sister, Roxanna LeTard Colon(Bobby); nephews, who he loved like sons, Christopher Colt LeTard(Kathy), Keith Robert Colon, and Kyle Adrian Colon; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, other family members, and friends.

He was preceded in death by his father, Xavier Ernest "Dudy" LeTard and his brother, Keith Ernest LeTard.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the visitation at Harry McKneely & Son Funeral Home in Hammond, 2000 N. Morrison Boulevard, Hammond, Louisiana 70401, on Monday, December 8, 2025, beginning at 9:00 AM until the funeral service begins at 11:00 AM.

Interment will follow in Rose Memorial Park Cemetery, Hammond, Louisiana.

The family would also like to invite everyone to attend a celebration of Danny's life following his interment at First Baptist Church in Hammond, 401 W Morris Avenue, Hammond, LA 70403.
