Daniel Lee Lindsey, Sr.

Daniel Lee Lindsey, Sr. was born February 20, 1958, in Independence, LA and passed away March 25, 2022, at his home in Springfield at age 64.  He is survived by his wife of 28 years, Debbie Bel Lindsey; children, Tiffany Downey (Tommy) and Daniel Lee Lindsey, Jr. (Jessica); siblings, Albert Lindsey (Lashelle), Alton Lindsey, Donald Lindsey (Glenda), and Debra Lindsey; mother Ounida Allemont, grandchildren, Hanna Campbell (Cody), Bryce Adams, Jachobie and Alexis Lindsey; great grandson, Stetson Campbell; and numerous other nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.  Daniel is preceded in death by his father, Albert Daniel Lindsey, Sr.; brother, Alex Lindsey; sisters, Rebecca Balfantz and Sharon Posey; and step mother, Rita Lindsey.  He was a member of Church In The Wind and loved spending time with his children, grandchildren and great grandchildren, riding his Harley, fishing and hunting.  Visitation will be at Harry McKneely & Son Funeral Home, 2000 North Morrison Boulevard, Hammond, Monday, March 28, 2022, from 1:00 p.m. until funeral services at 3:00 p.m. conducted by Pastor Terry Lobell.  Interment will follow at Killian First Baptist Church Cemetery, Killian, LA.
