Danetta F. Schwarz passed away on Monday, February 6, 2017, in Hammond, Louisiana, at the age of 79. She was born on Sunday, November 21, 1937, in New Orleans, Louisiana to the late Danetta Burling Fogarty and the late Burton Fogarty. She was a resident of Hammond, Louisiana. Her hobbies included bingo, gardening, and spending time with her children.
Danetta is survived by her daughters, Beth Brown and Colleen M. Nevils and her husband Daniel, her sons, Gerard F. Bannon, Jr. and his wife Leona Watan, Christopher M. Bannon and his wife Theone, Steve P. Bannon, Sr. and his wife Shelley and Todd E. Bannon and his wife Katie Gele; her grandchildren, Michelle Baglio, Gary Brown, Jeffrey Taylor, Katie Ann LeBaron, Nicole Milian, Wesley Weisler, Steve P. Bannon, Jr., Joshua Bannon, and Julia E. Bannon and numerous great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents Burton Fogarty and Danetta Burling Fogarty; husband, Gerard F. Bannon, Sr.; daughter, Sharon M. Bannon; grandson, Ronald J. Weisler, Jr.; son-in-law, Steven R. Brown; and great-granddaughter, Victoria Fortenberry.
A Graveside Service Celebrating Danetta's Life will be held on Thursday, February 9, 2017 at 11:00am in The Garden of Memories Cemetery, 4900 Airline Dr. in Metairie.
