Dale Joseph Gautreaux, Sr

Dale Joseph Gautreaux Sr., of Hammond, Louisiana, passed away at North Oaks Medical Center on Wednesday, January 5, 2022, at the age of 64. He was born on Monday, April 1, 1957 in New Orleans, Louisiana.
Dale loved riding in his golf cart, hanging out in his man cave, boiling seafood for family and friends, and cheering on the LSU Tigers.
Dale is survived by his wife, Dawn Wetmore Gautreaux; daughter and son-in-law, Brandi Gautreaux Sablatura and Jeremiah Sablatura; son, Dale "DJ" Gautreaux Jr.; half-brother, Donald Gautreaux; stepmother, Betty Gautreaux; mother-in-law, Lois Wetmore; brothers-in-law, Richard Wetmore and Todd Wetmore; nieces and nephews, Richard Wetmore, Amy Wetmore Combs (Todd), Jennifer Wetmore Peterson (fiancé Darrell), Kevin Gautreaux, Keith Gautreaux (Kim) and Kimberly Gautreaux Cooley.
Preceded in death by his father Donald Gautreaux, mother Lucy Gautreaux, brother Donlee Gautreaux and father-in-law Walter Wetmore.
Family and friends will be welcomed for visitation at Harry McKneely & Son Funeral Home - Hammond, 2000 N. Morrison Blvd, Hammond, Louisiana 70401 on Sunday, January 9, 2022 from 9:00 am until 11:00 am. A private burial will follow at a later date.
