Cynthia Irene Payne

Cynthia Irene Payne, of Ponchatoula, Louisiana, passed away at her residence on Wednesday, May 24, 2023, at the age of 69. She was born on Friday, March 06, 1954, in Kentwood, Louisiana.

Cynthia is survived by her husband, William "Bill" Roy Payne; daughter & son-in-law, Jennifer Lynne Payne and Thaddeus Gautier, son & daughter-in-law, David Michael Payne and Maya Zinnia Payne, son, Ben Payne; grandchildren, John Scott Payne, Alexis Marie Payne, Lillian Camille Gautier, Reese Harmony Payne and Oliver Scott Payne; mother, Carolyn Wall Russell; brother & sister-in-law, Mickey and Mary Williams and brother, Kevin Russell.

She was preceded in death by her father, Boliver Cleo Russell; brother, David Williams.

Family and friends will be received at Harry McKneely & Son Funeral Home, 2000 N. Morrison Blvd, Hammond, Louisiana 70401 on Sunday, May 28, 2023, from 1:00 pm until 3:00 pm. 
A celebration of Cynthia's life will be held at Funeral Home Chapel - Hammond, 2000 N. Morrison Blvd., Hammond, Louisiana on Sunday at 3:00 pm.
Interment will follow at  Rosaryville Mausoleum, following the service.
