Cynthia "Cindy" Muscarello Galofaro

Cynthia "Cindy" Muscarello Galofaro passed away on Wednesday, January 11, 2023, in Covington, Louisiana, at the age of 65.  She was born on Saturday, January 19, 1957, in Hammond, Louisiana to the late Frances Alfonso Muscarello and the late Santo Muscarello.  She was a resident of Hammond, Louisiana.

Cindy is survived by her husband, Joseph "Joey" John Galofaro, III; sons, Dr. Brian Joseph Galofaro and his wife, Kristi, and Matthew Jacob Galofaro and his wife, Bailey; grandchildren, Abby McNeal, Lauren McNeal, and Ella Claire Galofaro; siblings, Carol Watts and her husband, Charles; Betty Oster; Peter Muscarello and his wife, Louise; and Frances Hargrave and her husband, Joseph; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

In addition to her parents, Cindy was also preceded in death by her father-in-law, Joseph J. Galofaro, Jr. and her mother-in-law, Lena Mike Galofaro.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the visitation at Holy Ghost Catholic Church, 600 North Oak Street, Hammond, Louisiana 70401, on Saturday, January 14, 2023 beginning at 10:00 AM until the funeral mass begins at 11:00 AM.  

Interment will follow in Rose Memorial Park Cemetery, Hammond, Louisiana.

In lieu of flowers family asks that donations be made to the American Cancer Society and St. Jude's in Cindy's name.
