Cricket Ruedinger passed away on Monday, January 9, 2023, in Hammond, Louisiana, at the age of 72. She was born on Monday, April 24, 1950 in San Antonio, Texas to the late Marjorie and Nicolas Sanchez. She was a resident of Hammond, Louisiana.
Cricket is survived by her husband, James Ruedinger, children, Ashleigh Hammel (Jacob) of Metairie, LA, Michael Torres of Oxon Hill, MD, Step-Children, Erik Ruedinger of Iron Mountain, MI, Jeremy Ruedinger (Sara) of Appleton, WI,Tina Ray (Dalton) of Appleton, WI, Tanya Hietpas (Tim) of Little Chute, WI, grandchildren, Jaxon, Julian, Jett, Cayman, Bella, Neela, T'gre, Akira, Breanna and Connor, great-grandchild, Samual, her fur babies, Daisey and Kobi, siblings, Randall Sanchez (Maria), Lorraine Kelly (Laurence), Nancy Cheevers (Richard), and Jan Austin, brother and sister-in-laws, Pamela Peterson (Dusty)and Dale Ruedinger (Laura), as well as her nieces and nephews, Eric, Jenny, Casey, Lauren, David, James, Daniel, Sarah, Erin, Matthew, Kate and Dawn.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Marjorie and Nicolas Sanchez; and brother-in-law, William H. Austin.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral Service at Harry McKneely &Son Funeral Home - Hammond, 2000 N. Morrison Blvd, Hammond, Louisiana 70401, on Friday, January 13, 2023 at 1:30pm. Visitation will be held on Friday, January 13, 2023, 11:00 am - 1:30pm.
Interment will follow in Rosaryville Cemetery, Ponchatoula, Louisiana.
