Craig E. May

Craig E. May was born August 30, 1961, in Hammond, to the late Reginald and Edna Benton May. He passed away April 15, 2026, in Tickfaw, his residence. Craig was a member of First Baptist Church of Independence. He is survived by his daughter, Paula Twiner, and her husband, Angel; son, Yance May; brothers, Michael May and his wife, Melissa, and Reginald May, and his wife, Ann; sister, Jamie Smith and her husband, David; numerous grandchildren; nieces and nephews; and a great grandchild. In addition to his parents, Craig is preceded in death by his wife, Tammy Navarre May. Visitation will be at Harry McKneely & Son Funeral Home, 2000 North Morrison Boulevard, Hammond, Saturday, April 18, 2026, from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. and Sunday, April 19, 2026, from 1:00 p.m. until funeral services at 2:00 p.m. conducted by Rev. Mitch Williams. Interment will follow in Independence Baptist Church Cemetery.
