Craig Charles Mayeux, of Tickfaw, Louisiana, passed away surrounded by his loving family at Richard Murphy Hospice House on Saturday, July 25, 2020, at the age of 66. He was born on March 3, 1954, in Cottonport, Louisiana, the son of the late Reuben Mayeux and the late Lillie Ducote Mayeux. Craig was a loving husband, devoted father, and caring grandfather who put his family above everything else. He was very handy always repairing things around the house, fixing toys and teaching his grandchildren new things. Craig was a joyful man, who was always smiling and was loved by so many.

Craig is survived by his wife of 41 years, Becky Winborn Mayeux; three sons, Clint Mayeux and wife Amy, Craig "Brandon" Mayeux, and Aaron Mayeux and wife Rachel; grandchildren, Austin, Cade, Alivia, Luke, and Avery Kate; siblings, Gayle, Janice, Sharon, and Michael; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Family and friends will be received at Harry McKneely & Son Funeral Home, 2000 N. Morrison Blvd, Hammond, Louisiana 70401 on Tuesday, July 28, 2020 from 11:00 am until 1:00 pm.

A Funeral Service will be held at Harry McKneely & Son Funeral Home - Hammond on Tuesday at 1:00 pm, with Rev. Patrick Brady officiating.

Interment will follow at Loranger Community Cemetery in Loranger, Louisiana.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Richard Murphy Hospice Foundation, 1109 South Chestnut Street, Hammond, LA 70403.

Face masks are now mandatory to attend any visitation or service at the funeral home. Thank you for your cooperation.
