Craig Anthony Navis

Craig Anthony Navis passed away on Sunday, January 1, 2017, after a brief illness, at his home in Chalmette, Louisiana, surrounded by his loving family, at the age of 75.  He was born on Thursday, July 3, 1941, in New Orleans, Louisiana to the late Marie Relimpio Navis and Sidney Joseph Navis.

Craig is survived by his beloved wife of 40 years, Susan Netto Navis; his children and their spouses, Sherri and Donald Blanco, Melinda (Cindy) and Charles Lauland, Craig Navis, Jr., and Curtis and Nina Navis; and 11 grandchildren, Dawn, Melinda, Frank, Eric, Brandy, Jessica, Charles, Eric, Curtis Jr., Valerie, and Gavin.  Also survived by 3 great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his daughters, Paula & Wanda Lynn Navis; parents, Sidney and Marie Navis; his brother, Sidney J. Navis; and sister, Gwen Navis.

Craig loved fishing and hunting and he enjoyed spending time with his family and grandkids.

A Celebration of Craig's Life will be held at a later date.
