Cory Matthew Tucker

Cory Matthew Tucker, born on December 11, 1991, in Slidell, Louisiana, passed away Friday, February 18, 2022, at the young age of 30 in Houston, Texas.  Cory was a resident of Hammond, Louisiana most of his life until moving to Houston, Texas.  He attended Holy Ghost Catholic School, Trafton Academy, and was a graduate of St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic High School.  He is survived by his mother, Deana Ann Vaccaro; father, Roger “Butch” Tucker Jr and stepmom, Rosie; his older brother, Ryan Tucker and his wife, Ciara; his little sister, Madison Tucker, his younger brother, Brayden Stewart; maternal grandparents, Anthony “Jr.” and Emily Vaccaro; paternal grandmother, Pat Tucker Lobue; uncles, Todd Vaccaro and his wife, Rhonda, Thomas Tucker and wife, Marina, and William Tucker; aunt, Wendy Tucker and her husband, Jon Wing; and cousins, Carlie Vaccaro, Trysten Tucker, Taylor Tucker Finch (Taylor), Dylan Tucker, Aaron Tucker, Langan Wing, and Frannie Wing.  Visitation will be at Harry McKneely & Son Funeral Home, 2000 North Morrison Boulevard, Hammond, Louisiana, Friday, February 25, 2022, from 10:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. with religious services at 12:00 p.m. celebrated by Father Jamin David.
