Cornell M. Ladner

Cornell M. Ladner passed away on Sept 2, 2023, in Las Vegas, NV, at the age of 80.  He was born on Aug 16, 1943, in Covington, LA to Christine Bernard Ladner and Dessie Ladner. He grew up in Hammond but spent the majority of his adult life in Mississippi as a Microbiologist.

In his retirement years, Cornell was an avid reader and spent countless hours doing online research on a variety of topics, particularly the subject of alternative health.
He took great pleasure in being able to share cutting edge scientific & medical findings with family, friends & colleagues.
 
He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Emily Johnson Ladner. His oldest daughter, Lyndy Ladner Marnell, her husband Anthony A. Marnell III, and their children Rex Anthony IV, and Ariana. Cornell is also survived by his sister, Virena Ladner.
 
He was preceded in death by many beloved relatives, most notably, his younger daughter, Chanda Ladner.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Visitation at Harry McKneely & Son Funeral Home - Hammond, 2000 N. Morrison Blvd, Hammond, Louisiana 70401, on Sunday, September 10, 2023, at 2:30 pm., until services begin at 4:00 pm.

Interment will follow in New Palestine Cemetery, Picayune, Mississippi.
