Connie Jones Valenti

Connie Jones Valenti passed away on December 24, 2023, at her residence in Ponchatoula, Louisiana, at the age of 73. Connie was born on September 18, 1950, to J. Virgil Jones and F. Elvira Jones. She was a lifelong resident of Ponchatoula, LA. Connie was known for her love of dancing the night away with her favorite dance partners and listening to live music, driving the speed limit and spending time with her smallest best friend, Emma Leigh Miller. She will be greatly missed by family and many friends.

Connie is survived by her daughter, Monica Valenti Smith (Matthew); her two grand-daughters, Marley and Mattie Claire Smith; her fur babies, Buddy and Maling; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Connie was preceded in death by her mother, Elvira Jones; father, Virgil Jones; her husband, Jimmie Valenti; brother, Carl "Pete" Jones; and sister, Annette Jones Perrin.

A private memorial service will be held at a later date.
