Cleveland Nichols, of Mount Hermon, Louisiana, passed away at East Jefferson General Hospital on Saturday, December 28, 2024, at the age of 80. He was born on Thursday, November 30, 1944, in Independence, Louisiana.
Cleveland is survived by his son & daughter-in-law, Cleveland "Charlie" Nichols and Bonnie Nichols; daughter, Patricia Duncan; daughter & son-in-law, Sandra Bice and Eric "Fuzzy" Patterson; sister, Dianne Nichols Brewer; grandchildren, Michael Joseph Duncan, Jason Duncan, Andrew Duncan (Megan), Dixie Nichols (Roland Frye), Shelby Nichols McCarroll (Dillon), Christy Bice Kendall, and Christopher Bice (Erin), also survived by, many great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Dorothy Jones Nichols; granddaughter, Ashley Nichols; parents, Jack Nichols and Dixie Prine Nichols; sister, Stella Nichols Rogers; brother-in-law, Ronald Brewer.
Family and friends will be received at Harry McKneely & Son Funeral Home, 2000 N. Morrison Blvd, Hammond, Louisiana 70401 on Saturday, January 4, 2025 from 10:00 am until 1:00 pm.
A Funeral Service will be held at Funeral Home Chapel, on Saturday at 1:00 pm.
Interment will follow at Loranger Community Cemetery in Loranger, Louisiana.
