Landry, Claudea D.

Claudea was born March 30, 1955, in New Orleans, LA to the late Edward C. and Olga Dussor Dugas and passed away October 2, 2021, in Hammond, LA.  

Claudea was a resident of Ponchatoula.  

She was a parishioner of St. Joseph Catholic Church, Ponchatoula, and a retired educator with Tangipahoa Parish School System, having taught band at Ponchatoula Jr. High School.  

She received her Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees from Southeastern Louisiana University.  

Claudea is survived by her husband, Paul S. Landry; daughters, Samantha Landry and Meghan Landry; and a sister, Marcelyn Puig.  

Visitation will be held at Harry McKneely & Son Funeral Home, 100 West Magnolia Street, Ponchatoula, Saturday, October 9, 2021, from 11:00 a.m. until religious services at 1:00 pm in the funeral home chapel conducted by Deacon Larry Melancon.  Interment will follow in Ponchatoula Cemetery.
