Clarence âCJâ Bourg, Jr.
CJ went to his heavenly home on Monday, December 6, 2021 at the age of 44. He was a man of many interests, who loved working with his hands and could fix anything. CJâs heart of gold was always willing to help anyone in need. Each day of his life was lived to its fullest potential; he was known as an all-around fun guy. CJ had a love for music and was known as âDJ CJâ for many years of his life. He collected Star Wars and Marvel memorabilia, and loved cheering for the New Orleans Saints. He loved coaching Lukeâs baseball teams and teaching him the ways of life. Above all, CJ loved the quality time he spent with his family. Every moment spent with his wife Lynda and son Luke were moments he cherished. CJ will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
CJ leaves behind his beloved wife of almost 18 years, Lynda Bourg; son and best friend, Luke Bourg; loving parents, Ruth and Clarence Bourg Sr; adoring sister, Stacie Bourg; grandmother, Elaine Morales; nieces and nephew who were also his godchildren, Averee, Rosalie, Spencer, Michael Voebel Jr, and Godchild Bryleigh Ansardi; mother and father-in-law, Ada McNab and Kelton Voebel Jr.; brother and sister-in-law, Michael and Kayla Voebel; as well as numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and extended family.
Preceding CJ in death are his grandparents, Morris Morales, Clarence and Ruby Bourg.
To honor CJâs wishes all services were private. A âCelebrationâ of life will be held at a later date.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Harry McKneely & Son Funeral Home in Hammond, Louisiana.
