Christopher Andrew Fletcher

Christopher Andrew Fletcher passed away on Wednesday, May 4, 2022, in Gonzales, Louisiana, at the age of 58.  He was born on Monday, May 20, 1963 in Independence, Louisiana to the late Frances Herring Fletcher and Richard A. Fletcher.  He was a resident of Gonzales, Louisiana.

Christopher is survived by his wife of 40 years, Sherry Gates Fletcher; father, Richard A. Fletcher; daughter, Kristen Renee Krol and her husband, Justin; grandson, Weston James Krol; sister, Lisa Descant and her husband, Chris; brother, Richard P. Fletcher; mother-in-law and father-in-law, Joyce and Johnnie Gates; sister-in-law, Vickie Hebert, and her husband, Steve; brother-in-law, Alan Gates, and his wife, Wanda; and numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Frances Herring Fletcher; his maternal grandparents, Bertha Stukes and Hollis Herring; and his paternal grandparents, Mary and William Fletcher.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the visitation at Harry McKneely & Son Funeral Home in Hammond, 2000 N. Morrison Boulevard, Hammond, Louisiana 70401, on Saturday, May 7, 2022, beginning at 9:00 AM until the funeral service begins at 11:00 AM.

Interment will follow in Killian First Baptist Church Cemetery, Killian, Louisiana.
