Cheryl Marie Palmisano Reed

Cheryl Marie Palmisano Reed, affectionately known as "ReRe" to her grandchildren and loved ones, passed away peacefully on April 27, 2024, at the age of 64.

Cheryl was born to Lester Joseph Palmisano, Sr. and Jeannine Helen Landry Palmisano on July 17, 1959, in New Orleans, Louisiana. She was preceded in death by her parents.

She is survived and treasured by her devoted husband, Daniel Christopher Reed, and her four children: Sarah Jeannine Clancy (Andrew), Seth Frederick Robeson, Naomi Bounds Carpenter (Jacob), and Nathaniel Joel Bounds. Cheryl was a loving grandmother to Luke O'Connor Clancy and Adelyn Rose Clancy, who brought immense joy to her life. She is also survived by her siblings, Sharon Palmisano Ledoux (William), Lester Joseph Palmisano, Jr. (Margot), and David Wayne Palmisano.

Cheryl was known for her kindness, warmth, and unwavering love for her family. She will be deeply missed and forever cherished by all who had the privilege of knowing her. 

Family and friends will be received at Souls Harbor Church, 2100 Anita Blvd, Hammond LA. 70403, on Saturday, May 18, 2024, from 9:00 am until 12:00 pm.   

A Funeral Service will be held at Souls Harbor on Saturday at 12:00 pm.

Interment will follow at St. Dominic Catholic Church Cemetery in Husser, Louisiana. 

There will be a dinner celebrating the life of Cheryl at the family home, 52756 S Bennett Road, Independence, Louisiana 70443, following the service at the graveside. 

The family has established a GoFundME to offset funeral expenses.
