Cheryl Jo Ratliff

Cheryl Jo Ratliff peacefully passed away on Saturday, May 7, 2022, in Covington, Louisiana at the age of 60.  She was born on Saturday, December 2, 1961, in Independence, Louisiana and was a current  resident of Hammond, Louisiana.

Cheryl was a loving and caring woman, always giving her time to others and she incorporated that into her motherhood.  She loved spending time with her large family, children, and grandchildren, and will be missed dearly by all who knew her.

Cheryl is survived by her mother, Jackie Norman Genco; children, Wayne Ratliff (Catherine), Christopher Ratliff, Brittany Ratliff; grandchildren, Tristan, Mason Glenn, AnnaLee, Asiya, Abigail, Mason Joseph, Skyler, Madi, Brinley, Aubrey, Lexi; siblings, Carolyn Dupont (Donald), Cindy Ratliff, Theresa Ficklin, Scott Ratliff (Joni), as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her father, Joseph Ratliff Sr; son, Shane Ratliff; siblings, Pat Rick, Joseph Ratliff "JR" and Tommy Jo Ratliff.

Family and friends will be received by Chaplain Wayne Ratliff at Harry McKneely & Son Funeral Home, Ponchatoula, 100 W. Magnolia Street.  Celebration of Life Service will be Saturday, May 14, 2022, at 12:00 p.m. with visitation beginning at 10:00 a.m. Interment will follow at Sand Hill Cemetery in Ponchatoula, Louisiana.
