Cheryl Doiron Bergeron

Cheryl Doiron Bergeron entered eternal rest on Monday, March 5, 2018, in Ponchatoula, LA. She was a kind, caring, fun person who loved to dance. 

Cheryl is survived by her son, Cary Schouest; and brothers, Chad and Orland Frey. She loved her family, especially her niece, Amy Frey. She also leaves behind many dear friends from Marrero and Ponchatoula. 

Cheryl is preceded in death by her first-born son, Charles "Chuckie" Schouest; her beloved husband, Raymond Bergeron; and her parents, John Doiron and Mildred Landry Frey and Orland Frey, Sr. 

The family would like to express their deepest gratitude to her hospice nurse, Janet Becnell. 

A Visitation for Cheryl will be held on Saturday, April 7, 2018, from 9:00 am - 11:00 am. at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 255 North 8th Street, Ponchatoula, Louisiana. A Memorial Mass Celebrating Cheryl's Life will immediately follow visitation at 11:00am in the church. Inurnment will follow at Holly Gardens in Hammond. 

The family wishes that all memorial donations be made to the Richard Murphy Hospice House, 1109 South Chestnut St., Hammond, Louisiana 70403 in Cheryl's memory.
