Charles William "Billy" Vitter

Charles William "Billy" Vitter passed away on Thursday, July 28, 2022, in Hammond, Louisiana, at the age of 74. He was born on Sunday, October 19, 1947, in New Orleans, Louisiana to the late Shirley Burns Vitter and the late Oscar "Junior" Vitter. He was a resident of Hammond, Louisiana. Billy is survived by his siblings, Barbara Vitter, Karen Landry (John), Christopher Vitter, his nieces and nephews, Neal (Jr.), James Correy and Jennifer DeArmond, Carel Lynn Landry, Kevin Sullivan, and Andrew Lee Vitter, as well as all of his friends at Options.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Shirley Burns and Oscar "Junior" Vitter; siblings, Samuel Lee Vitter and Ella Sullivan; as well as other aunts, uncles and cousins.

The family would like to off a special thanks to the staff of Options for the loving care they provided to Billy for 31 years.

Services will be held at a later date and time.
