Charles Robert Penton, Jr.

Charles Robert Penton, Jr., of New Orleans, Louisiana, passed away at his home on Tuesday, April 27, 2021, at the age of 53. He was born on January 6, 1968, the son of the late Charles Robert Penton, Sr. and Alice Marie Neal Penton. Robert was a proud veteran of the U.S. Army where he was as a Military Police Officer and served in Germany, Korea, and Iraq. He loved serving his country and military life.

Robert is survived by his children, Matt, Brandi, Brittany, and Savannah; 11 grandchildren; siblings, David Penton, James Penton and wife Melissa, and Shannon Canterbury and husband Tracy; and nieces and nephews, Amber Morse, Devin Penton, Shelby Gauthreaux, and Hunter Pinkley.

Family and friends will be received at Harry McKneely & Son Funeral Home, 2000 N. Morrison Blvd, Hammond, Louisiana 70401 on Sunday, May 2, 2021 from 12:30 pm until 1:30 pm. A Funeral Service will begin at 1:30 pm, with  Rev. Randy Ray officiating.

Interment will follow at Parklawn Memorial Gardens in Hammond, Louisiana.
