Charles Monteleone

Charles Monteleone passed away on Saturday, March 5, 2022, in Hammond, Louisiana, at the age of 80.  He was born on Friday, December 26, 1941 in Hammond, Louisiana to the late Josephine Parich.  He was a resident of Tickfaw, Louisiana.  Charles was a retired commercial fisherman and loved the outdoors, his guns, and his pets. Most of all, Charles loved his family.

Charles is survived by his wife of 50 years, Phyllis Vicari Monteleone; children, Gary Paul Monteleone, Chad Monteleone, and Heather Monteleone; grandchildren, Sandra, Jeffery, Sam, Harrison, and Bryant; great-granddaughter, Kyrsten; brother, Tommy Folks; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

In addition to his mother, Charles was also preceded in death by his brother, Tony Monteleone; sister, Rose Marie Forrester; and granddaughter, Andrea Monteleone.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the visitation at Harry McKneely & Son Funeral Home in Hammond, 2000 N. Morrison Boulevard, Hammond, Louisiana 70401, on Wednesday, March 9, 2022, beginning at 10:00 AM, until the funeral service begins at 1:00 PM.

Interment will follow in Rose Memorial Park Cemetery, Hammond, Louisiana.
