Charles Bigner

Charles Bigner  passed away on Thursday, August 5, 2021, in Ponchatoula, Louisiana, at the age of 84.  He was born on Monday, May 24, 1937 in New Orleans, Louisiana to the late Lula McMorris Bigner and the late Charles M. Bigner.  He was a resident of Ponchatoula, Louisiana.

Charles is survived by his wife, Ernie Perry Bigner; children, Cheryl Bigner Compton (Bill), Chuck Bigner (Sheri), Steven Bigner, and Scott Bigner; grandchildren, Heather Dykes (William Scott), Nicholas Bigner (Brittany), Brooke Cannino (Scott), Christian Bigner (Ellis), Aaron Bigner (Haley), Cameron Bigner (Kamryn), Landon Bigner, and Kendra Sharp; and 9 great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his father, Charles M. Bigner; and his mother, Lula McMorris Bigner.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the visitation at French Corner Baptist Church, 39715 Teal Rd., Ponchatoula LA.70454, on Saturday, August 14, 2021 beginning at 9:00 AM until the funeral service begins at 12:00 PM.  

Interment will follow in Sand Hill Cemetery, Ponchatoula, Louisiana.
