Celeste Timberlake Mccahill

Celeste Timberlake McCahill, 54 years old of Independence, Louisiana, passed away on Sunday, March 26, 2017, at North Oaks Medical Center with her family by her side. She was born on Thursday, October 4, 1962, in Fort Jackson, South Carolina to Faye Yvonne Sellers. Celeste enjoyed life and loved fishing, reading, cooking, dancing and helping others. Most of all, she loved spending time with her family especially her grandchildren.

Celeste is survived by her sons, David  Harrison and  Adrian McCahill, her daughters, Vanessa  Starkey and her husband Dorian and Benji Ann McCahill, 18 grandchildren, her brother, Michael Timberlake and his wife Brenda, her sister, Kimberly Timberlake, also many nieces, nephews and close friends.

She is preceded in death by her mother Faye Yvonne Sellers and her daughter Mary Elizabeth McCahill.

A Memorial Visitation for Celeste will be held Today, March 29, 2017 from 2:00 pm until 4:00 pm at Harry McKneely & Son Funeral Home in Hammond.

A Memorial Service Celebrating Celeste's Life will immediately follow visitation at 4:00pm in the funeral home chapel.

In lieu of flowers the family wishes all memorial donations be made to her daughter Vanessa Starkey, 29433 White Oak Rd. Livingston, Louisiana 70754 to help with funeral expenses in Celeste's memory.
