Cathy Boyer Welch

Cathy Boyer Welch, of Covington, Louisiana, passed away at St. Tammany Parish Hospital on Friday, December 16, 2022, at the age of 73. She was born on Tuesday, November 29, 1949, in Merigold, Mississippi, the daughter of the late Alva Raymond Boyer and the late Theresa Anita Painter Boyer.

She retired after 32 years of managing the Pizza Hut in Covington.

Cathy is survived by her husband of 55 years, Richard "Ricky" Welch, son, Richard "Bubba" Welch(Katie), daughters, Stacey Sharp(Clay), Misty Welch(Glenn), Natalie Dupuy, Nicole Welch, and Brittany Ardeneaux(Andre); 18 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; sisters, Yvonne Henry, Melanie Mele, Sharon  Campo, Michelle Willie, Robin Boyer and her brothers, Barry Boyer, and Bruce Boyer.

She was preceded in death by her daughters, Christy Sheridan, Shannon Kennedy, and brothers, Brett Boyer and Brian Boyer.

A Celebration  on Cathy's life will be held at a later date.
