Catherine "Cathy" Zievert Rivero

Catherine "Cathy" Zievert Rivero passed away on Wednesday, May 17, 2017 at the age of 67. She was born on Thursday, December 22, 1949 in Sugarland, Texas to the late Viola Cox and the late Clement Zievert. She was a resident of Hammond, Louisiana.

Cathy is survived by her sons, Billie D. Rivero, Jr. and his wife Jessica, Bret M. Rivero and his wife Kristy, and Brad "Lucky" J. Rivero and his wife Laura; grandchildren, Keaton J. Rivero, Hanna N. Rivero, Kassidy D. Rivero, Kollin D. Rivero, Brock M. Rivero, and Jaden C. Rivero; sisters, Carol Z. Blanchard, Lana Z. Wingerter, and Mary Z. Cooper; and brother, James "Jimbo" A. Zievert.

She was preceded in death by her father, Clement Zievert; mother, Viola Cox Zievert; and her loving husband, Billie "Doc"  Rivero, Sr.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend visitation in the chapel of Harry McKneely & Son Funeral Home,Hammond, 2000 N. Morrison Blvd, Hammond, Louisiana 70401, on Sunday, May 21, 2017 from 10:00 am until the funeral service at 2:00 pm.

Interment will follow in Rose Memorial Gardens.
