Carolyn Hill Kysar

Carolyn Hill Kysar, of Gonzales, Louisiana, passed away at Our Lady of the Lake Regional Medical Center in Baton Rouge on Tuesday, May 7, 2024, at the age of 72. She was born on May 10, 1951, in Jackson, Mississippi, the daughter of the late Thomas Franklin Hill and the late Eva Lorraine Coghlan Hill. Carolyn loved to watch her favorite football teams.

Carolyn is survived by her loving husband of 49 years, Danny Kysar; daughter, Evelyn Dupuy and husband Joseph; son, Casey Joseph Kysar and wife Kristie; grandchildren, Kayla Lebeau and partner Chastin Scott, DiaRae Landry and husband Jamison, and Hunter Dupuy; 8 great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Carolyn was preceded in death by her siblings, Shirley Jean, Peggy, Roy, and Ralph "Buddy".

Family and friends will be received at Harry McKneely & Son Funeral Home, 2000 N. Morrison Blvd, Hammond, Louisiana 70401 on Thursday, May 9, 2024 from 10:00 am until 11:00 am.

A Funeral Service will be held on Thursday at 11:00 am.

Interment will follow at Natalbany Cemetery in Independence, Louisiana.
