Carolyn Connolly

Carolyn Connolly passed away peacefully at home on Thursday, October 1, 2026, surrounded by family, in Ponchatoula, Louisiana, at the age of 82. She was born on Friday, March 10, 1944 in New Orleans, Louisiana to the late Etta and Joseph Maranto. She was a resident of Ponchatoula, Louisiana.

Carolyn is survived by her children, Joe Pat Connolly (Aimee), Marianna Bertrand (Brian), Peter Connolly (Katie) and Joanna Barraza; and grandchildren, Troy, Jack, Aubree, Isabella, Tyler, Marcus, Wesley, Hector, Antonio and Angelina.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her loving husband, John Connolly; and brother, Sal Maranto.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the visitation at Harry McKneely & Son Funeral Home, 100 W. Magnolia St., Ponchatoula, Louisiana 70454, on Thursday, October 8, 2026 from 9:00 am until services begin at 11:00 am.

Interment will follow in Rosaryville Cemetery, Ponchatoula, LA.
