Carol Mayers Faust

Carol Mayers Faust, 80 years old of Tickfaw, Louisiana, passed away on Monday, April 22, 2019, in Baton Rouge. She was born on Thursday, November 10, 1938, in Independence, Louisiana to Robert E. Sr. and Gertrude Harper Mayers. Carol enjoyed life and loved crocheting,knitting, sewing, decoupage, ceramics, gardening and cooking, but she especially loved spending time with her family. 

Carol is survived by her son, Charles Naretta and his wife Linda, her grandson, John Naretta and his wife Tiana, her brother, Donald Mayers and his wife Katheryn, also numerous nieces, nephews and close friends. 

Carol is preceded in death by her parents,Robert E. Sr. and Gertrude Harper Mayers, her husband, Kenneth Faust, her son,John “Johnny” Naretta and her brother, Robert E. Mayers, Jr. 

A Visitation for Carol will be held on Thursday, April 25, 2019 from 9:00 am until 11:00 am at Harry McKneely &Son Funeral Home in Hammond. A Funeral Service Celebrating Carol's Life will immediately follow visitation at 11:00 am in the funeral home chapel. Interment will follow at Lanier Cemetery in Loranger.
