Carol Ann Barr Hewitt

Carol Ann Barr Hewitt passed away on Friday, February 24, 2023, in Hammond, Louisiana, at the age of 72.  She was born on Thursday, May 4, 1950 in Morgan City, Louisiana to the late Carol "Herb" Barr, Sr. and the late Lola Couvier Richard.  She was a resident of Loranger, Louisiana.

Carol is survived by her husband, Aldon Hewitt, Jr.; sons, Shannon Richard and his wife, Kathy, and Kevin Richard and his wife, Laura; daughters, Tammy Matthews and her husband, Jeff, Jennifer Morgan and her husband, Jason, and Jessica Hewitt; grandchildren, Alex Richard, Joshua Hewitt and his wife, Pershiphine, Kyle Ellis, Hayley Matthews, Michelle Ellis, Regan Matthews, Brandon Perkins, Savannah Morgan, Shiloh Perkins, Cerise Richard, Cole Morgan, and Conrad Richard; great-grandchildren, Aiden Brown, Ayden Goad, Zayne Hewitt, and Callahan Kerth; sister, Sherry Snyder; brother, A.J. Richard; and sister-in-law, Patty DiMattia.

In addition to her parents, Carol is also preceded in death by her sister, Linda Landry; and her brother, Carol "Jr." Barr.
